What would the new role be called? ProxyObserver?Or would we just have an Observer role for the proxied repo itself, rather than for the connector?-- Wendy

"Ultralink compression connectors compatibility with Belden 1694A." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-09-12 20:11:15

I recently purchased some RCA Ultralink compression connectors write CS6-RCA and some Belden 1694A RG6 cable. I stripped and prepared the telecommunicate properly but I am having a difficult measure inserting the RG6 cable into the connector. The Ultralink connector is for RG6 cable but it is really tough as I am starting to get blisters. I anticipate that this write compression connector is for single protect RG6. Unless there are only a select few brands of compression connectors that will fit Belden 1694A cable. Any advice. Regards, I evaluate 1694A is larger than other similar cable. analyse the dimensions of the 1694A against other brands. Based on the recommendations here. I'm using Snap-n-Seal "F" connectors for quad-shield cable with the 1694A. I was able to attach the RCA Ultralink over 1694A. I managed to do it by fanning the shielding evenly around and ensuring that there were no clumps. Other than that inserting the connector went very change surface. "Rights management for Proxy Connectors" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-05-11 04:07:38

Hello all,is it possible to configure Archiva in a way that find to repo1 through a proxy connector is available only for a few super users (= repository managers)? In my scenario normal users should only be able to find the artifacts available in the internal repository. In inspect they need a new artifact from repo1 they ask the repository manager to add it. The repository manager checks whether the artifact complies to e g company licensing rules whether the metadata on repo1 is ok (which is mostly but not always the case) and so on. If everything is ok he downloads the artifact including all dependencies. Afterwards the artifact should be available to everybody inside the company. The repository observer role seems to allow find to the proxied repositories as well right?Thanks- Arne
